Here, you'll find really good cuisine from Latin America. It's fresh, well cooked, tasty, laid back and delicious , it reminded me of several trips I made in South and Central America. The only thing is the price. I mean, portions are either too small or it's too expensive but It's not the case for every dish. I truly think they'd enjoy more business if they fix this. Otherwise, I recommend the place, I gave them 5 stars for a reason.

Hidden in an unexpected corner of Basel, this Colombian restaurant is a real gem. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the service is outstanding. Every dish we tried was full of authentic flavor and beautifully prepared. A great spot worth discovering!

Very good place with homemade food. The service was very kind and accommodating (a bit slow because of a birthday but they did let us know). The ambiance was lovely with great music and a nice terrace outside. We had the patacones with pork (delicious!), the arepa (was ok, the meat could be juicier and either herbs for better taste), fresh juices (the mango one needed a bit more of fruit but they added more when we asked) and the empanadas (super good!). I will go again for their Sunday breakfast offer

Delicious colombian food!! It was like being back to Colombia and having a nice homemade meal!! We had Bandeja Paisa and Sancocho. We also had some shots of Aguardiente!! We will come back for sure to try more of their menu. Gracias!!!

Authentic Colombian Delight in Basel I had the pleasure of dining twice at Restaurante Colombiano Nuestra Tierra in Basel, and I can confidently say it’s the best Colombian restaurant I’ve tried in Europe. Every dish tasted authentic, crafted with fresh ingredients, and bursting with the rich flavors that define Colombian cuisine. During my visits, I enjoyed an array of traditional dishes: Cazuela de Mariscos, a hearty seafood stew full of flavor; a generous Picada featuring crispy chicharrón, savory morcilla, tender costillas de cerdo, juicy chorizo, crunchy patacones, and perfectly fried yuca. I also savored Lechona, Sobrebarriga, and several other Colombian specialties—all prepared to perfection. We also had the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve at the restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The evening was filled with Colombian music, vibrant energy, and a fantastic atmosphere, making us feel right at home while welcoming the new year. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, adding warmth to the experience. The restaurant also offers plenty of space for larger groups, making it ideal for gatherings with family or friends. Without a doubt, Nuestra Tierra will be at the top of my list on my next visit to Switzerland. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Colombia in Europe, this is the place to be! Highly recommended.

Great Colombian restaurant you shouldn’t miss. The food is excellent and truly authentic. The portions are very generous, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.
